Apple has officially announced the new Mac mini (featuring M6 and M5 Pro chips) and Mac Studio (featuring M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips). Customers in the US and over 30 countries worldwide can pre-order via the Apple Online Store and Apple Store app starting August 25, 2026.
Deliveries and in-store availability at Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Resellers will begin on September 22, 2026. Both Mac mini models carry higher price tags than their predecessors, driven by the rapid expansion of AI data centers that continues to push up demand and costs for memory and storage chips across the tech industry. Apple previously raised the price of the M4 Pro Mac mini to $1,599 in June, and the latest M5 Pro model reflects the same rising component costs.
