Gemini hits 1 billion monthly active users, becoming Google's fastest-growing product

Google's AI chatbot has reached 1 billion monthly active accounts, making it the fastest-growing product in the company's history.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has revealed that the Gemini AI chatbot application has reached 1 billion Monthly Active Users (MAUs).

This milestone makes Gemini Google's 14th product to reach the 1-billion-user mark, but notably, it achieved this feat faster than any other product in the company's history.

Gemini's 1 billion user milestone is drawing industry comparisons; rival OpenAI stated that ChatGPT reached 1 billion monthly active users last June, and just announced 1 billion weekly active users the week prior.
