Murmell launches a 'cloud canvas' that lets teams and multiple AI agents work together on the same project
Murmell has launched on Product Hunt as a cloud-based canvas where humans and multiple AI coding agents can work on the same repo without overwriting each other, with support for Claude Code, Codex, Kimi, and OpenCode
Product Hunt has featured a new tool called Murmell, which defines itself as a shared cloud canvas — a central cloud workspace where team members and AI agents can work together in one place on the same code repository.
The feature Murmell claims sets it apart from typical tools is its file 'claim' system — before an agent can edit a file, it must claim that file first, allowing multiple humans and agents to work simultaneously without overwriting each other's code. The interface is a browser-based canvas, where each AI coding agent runs on its own cloud machine while sharing the same project directory. Each agent opens in its own window with a real terminal, and all work is always committed back to git.
Murmell currently supports four agents: Claude Code, Codex, Kimi, and OpenCode, with the company stating that more agents will follow, along with upcoming features such as a preview function.
On the revenue model, Murmell charges for machines and the shared workspace, but does not charge for model tokens — users must bring their own existing agent subscriptions and API keys to connect. There are three pricing tiers: Solo at $39, Pro at $69, and Builder at $149 per month (annual billing priced at the equivalent of 10 months). All plans include a free trial, and the Pro and Builder plans come with $60 worth of Opus credits. The official website states a 7-day free trial, while the Product Hunt launch post mentions a promotion of two weeks free with $60 in Claude Code credits.
The creator lists themselves on Product Hunt as 'Moss'Ab', whose identity has not been verified by any independent source. Interested users should evaluate and try the tool themselves before deciding to subscribe to a paid plan.
The AI coding agent era is shifting from having a single agent assist with coding to having multiple agents work alongside real humans simultaneously — Thai developers already using Claude Code or Codex could benefit from this concept without paying extra for tokens.
